Lust and the Christian man

First off the dictionary definition of lust is "1) intense or unrestrained sexual craving, or 2) an overwhelming desire or craving."

This post was pornography and the Christian man but I've decided the topic needs to be viewed as more than just pornography, but lust in general because the Bible tells us that by merely looking at a woman with lust for her, has already committed adultery in his heart. Matthew 5:28.
WATCH OUT GUYS! this is a big one. It's easy to do, and even easier to hide or cover up, but nothing is hidden from an all knowing God. God sees what is in our hearts and He knows about that girl you work with that you desire so bad but isn't your wife, He knows about that Ex-girlfriend you daydream about even though she is married, he knows about that video online you watch, or that one site where you know you can get turned on, or that gentleman's club you go to when you think no one is watching. He knows, and He will hold us each accountable for our thoughts and actions. 2 Corinthians 5:10

As Christian men, we should always be on our guard against the distractions of the world. We have to guide our own hearts, and not let them guide us. God calls us to live with focus and intently. The next worst part is that lust tears our families apart, it inhibits us from being

Matthew 5:27-28 "You have heard that it was said, 'You shall not commit adultery'; 28but I say to you that everyone who looks at a woman with lust for her has already committed adultery with her in his heart.

6Therefore, being always of good courage, and knowing that while we are at home in the body we are absent from the Lord- 7for we walk by faith, not by sight- 8we are of good courage, I say, and prefer rather to be absent from the body and to be at home with the Lord. 9Therefore we also have as our ambition, whether at home or absent, to be pleasing to Him. 10For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, so that each one may be recompensed for his deeds in the body, according to what he has done, whether good or bad
